New High-Tech skin scan could spot cancer earlier
NCT ID NCT07277920
Summary
This study aims to improve early detection of melanoma skin cancer by comparing two advanced diagnostic tools. Researchers will use a special non-invasive skin microscope (RCM) to examine suspicious moles before they are surgically removed, then analyze the tissue's genetic patterns. The goal is to see if the imaging features match the genetic signatures of cancer, potentially leading to better and earlier diagnosis.
