New hope for advanced breast cancer: SKB264 takes on chemo in major trial

Summary

This study tests a new drug called SKB264 against standard chemotherapy in people with advanced hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer that has stopped responding to hormone therapy. About 430 adults aged 18-75 will be randomly assigned to receive either SKB264 or a chemotherapy chosen by their doctor. The main goal is to see if SKB264 can delay cancer growth or improve survival.
