Two-Drug combo aims to supercharge immune attack on prostate cancer

NCT ID NCT06100705

First seen Nov 06, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding bipolar androgen therapy (BAT) to the standard Sipuleucel-T vaccine can strengthen the immune system's fight against metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. About 26 men will receive both treatments, and researchers will measure immune response through blood tests. The goal is to improve disease control, not to cure the cancer.
