Porcine vs. bovine bone grafts: which works better for sinus lifts?

NCT ID NCT07386184

First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study will test two different bone graft materials (one from pigs, one from cows) in 24 healthy adults who need a sinus lift before getting dental implants. Participants will receive one of the two grafts, and after six months a small bone sample will be taken to see how well the graft turned into new bone. The goal is to find out which material leads to better bone growth and implant success.
