New bone graft mix helps dental implants take root in thin jawbones

NCT ID NCT07186166

First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tested a bone graft material for dental implants in 60 people with very thin jawbones (4 mm or less). The graft combined synthetic bone materials with the patient's own blood components. After 6 months, small bone samples were taken to measure new bone growth. The goal was to see if this approach could create enough bone to support dental implants.
