Lung surgery risk: does ventilation time matter?
NCT ID NCT07100860
First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study observes 134 adults having chest surgery to see if the time one lung is deflated (single-lung ventilation) is linked to lung complications like pneumonia or breathing trouble. Researchers will track ventilation time and check for problems within a week after surgery. The goal is to understand if shorter ventilation times lead to fewer complications.
