Summary
This study tested whether a single, high-dose radiation treatment can destroy limited cancer spread (1-5 tumors) in 150 adults with metastatic cancer. The goal was to control or eliminate visible tumors and extend survival without needing lifelong medication. Results were measured by PET scans to see if tumors disappeared or stayed gone.
