Can High-Tech simulation outperform Role-Play for future nurses?
NCT ID NCT07415057
Summary
This study aims to find out if clinical simulation training is better than traditional teaching methods at improving communication skills in first-year nursing students. Fifty students in Portugal will be randomly assigned to either practice with simulated patients or learn through role-play and group discussions. Researchers will measure changes in the students' communication abilities and their confidence before and after the training.
