First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether hands-on simulation training helps nursing students recognize and manage a common IV complication called infiltration (when fluid leaks into surrounding tissue). About 90 first-year nursing students will be split into two groups: one gets simulation training, the other gets traditional teaching. The goal is to see if simulation improves their knowledge, decision-making, and confidence.
