Summary

This study looked at whether using simulation-based lab exercises in a pediatric nursing course helps nursing students feel more competent, less anxious, and more comfortable in clinical settings. Sixty third-year nursing students took part in a randomized controlled trial. The results suggest that simulation training may improve students' perceived competence and reduce anxiety.
