Silver vs fluoride: battle for Kids' smiles

Summary
This study tests two common dental treatments to see which better reduces the bacteria that cause cavities in children. Researchers will apply silver diamine fluoride on one side of each child's mouth and fluoride varnish on the other side, then track bacteria levels for 3 months. The goal is to find which treatment more effectively controls cavity-causing bacteria in young children with existing cavities.
