Summary

This study is testing whether giving families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness $1,000 per month for two years can help them find stable housing and improve their health and well-being. About 300 families in Santa Clara County, California, will take part. The study compares two payment plans: monthly payments of $1,000 versus a larger upfront payment followed by smaller monthly payments.
