Summary
This early-stage trial tests an oral liquid containing carbon monoxide (HBI-002) in 9 people with sickle cell disease, aged 14-55. The goal is to see if it is safe and how the body processes it when taken daily for 14 days. This is not a cure but aims to control the disease by reducing complications.
