New hope for lung cancer: targeted drug SHR-A1811 takes on HER2 mutations

Summary
This study tests a new drug, SHR-A1811, against standard treatments for people with advanced or spreading non-small cell lung cancer that has a specific change called a HER2 mutation. About 300 adults who have not had prior treatment for their advanced cancer will receive either the new drug or usual care. The goal is to see if SHR-A1811 can delay cancer growth and improve survival.
