First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This completed study looked at 100 adults aged 60 and older to see if those with severe vision loss from age-related macular degeneration have more shoulder pain, stiffness, or movement problems than those with normal vision. Researchers measured pain, range of motion, and how well participants could do daily tasks. The goal was to understand if poor vision increases the risk of shoulder issues and affects quality of life.
