First seen Feb 16, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study aims to create a new, practical classification system for shoulder calcific tendinitis based on the location of calcium deposits seen on MRI. Researchers hope this will help doctors choose the best treatment for each patient. The study will follow 400 people who had surgery for this condition and track their shoulder function and pain over 12 months.
