Fewer hospital visits for cancer radiation? new trial tests shorter treatment

NCT ID NCT07595224

First seen May 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a shorter course of pelvic radiation after surgery works as well as the standard longer schedule for people with cervical or endometrial cancer. The shorter schedule means fewer hospital visits and less time in treatment. About 120 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two schedules, and researchers will compare side effects, how well the cancer responds, and quality of life.
