Two weeks vs four weeks: race to find gentler prostate cancer radiation
NCT ID NCT04422132
Summary
This study compares two shorter radiation schedules for prostate cancer that has returned after prostate removal surgery. Researchers want to see if a very short 2-week schedule causes similar or fewer urinary and bowel side effects compared to a standard 4-week schedule. The trial also tracks whether the cancer progresses and how patients' quality of life is affected by the different treatment lengths.
