Could 3-Hour labor induction cut birth time by 6 hours?

NCT ID NCT07492186

Summary

This study compares two methods for starting labor in pregnant women who need help beginning childbirth. Researchers want to see if using a balloon catheter for just 3 hours works as well as the standard 12-hour method to reduce the total time from induction to birth. They'll measure whether the shorter approach safely speeds up labor without increasing C-section rates or risks to mother and baby.
