Could 3-Hour labor induction cut birth time by 6 hours?
NCT ID NCT07492186
Summary
This study tests whether using a balloon catheter for just 3 hours can safely start labor faster than the standard 12-hour method. Researchers will compare how long it takes from starting induction to birth in 280 pregnant women needing labor induction. The goal is to reduce waiting time without increasing C-sections or risks to mother and baby.
