First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests a new approach for people with a type of esophageal cancer that can be surgically removed. Before surgery, participants receive a short course of radiation, followed by three cycles of an immunotherapy drug (serplulimab) plus standard chemotherapy. The goal is to see if this combination can eliminate or greatly reduce the cancer before the operation. The trial involves 22 adults aged 18-75 with good overall health.
