First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tested a shorter course of chemotherapy (EPOCH-R) in 68 people with HIV and untreated CD20-positive lymphoma. The goal was to see if stopping treatment early, after the cancer disappeared, could reduce infections and future cancer risks. Results showed the approach helped control the disease, but patients still need ongoing monitoring.
