NCT ID NCT07271108

First seen Jan 03, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looked at whether carrying heavy shopping bags twice a week can help adults who don't do strength exercises improve their muscle mass, strength, and endurance. 45 adults who were not meeting physical activity guidelines either carried shopping bags for 15 minutes twice a week or kept their normal routine. The results will help decide if this everyday activity should be recommended for better health.
