Summary
This study tested if a special shockwave treatment could reduce pain from bone spurs in people who lost a leg due to injury. 29 adults with painful spurs received either real shockwave therapy or a fake version, plus exercise. Researchers measured pain, function, and spur size before, 4 weeks, and 12 weeks after treatment.
