Summary
This study is testing a new vaccine designed to prevent shingles (herpes zoster) in children aged 1-17 who have received a kidney transplant. These children are at higher risk for shingles because they take medications that weaken their immune system to prevent organ rejection. The main goals are to see if the vaccine is safe, causes manageable side effects, and triggers a protective immune response in this vulnerable group.
