Summary
This study tests whether SGLT2 inhibitors, a type of diabetes drug, can improve the heart's upper chamber function in people with intermittent atrial fibrillation, high blood pressure, and abnormal blood sugar. The goal is to prevent heart failure. About 66 adults will receive either the drug or a placebo, and their heart function will be measured using advanced ultrasound.
