Summary
This study uses health records from 15,000 people with chronic kidney disease in Japan to see if SGLT2 inhibitors (a type of diabetes medicine) are linked to a lower risk of developing anemia. Researchers will also track changes in anemia treatments and costs over time. The goal is to understand how these drugs might help manage anemia, a common complication of kidney disease.
