Summary
This study looks at how Empagliflozin, a diabetes drug, changes the way the kidneys handle calcium, phosphate, and magnesium in people with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD). About 40 adults will take either the drug or a placebo for 2 weeks, then switch after a 2-week break. The goal is to learn more about electrolyte balance, not to treat the disease directly.
