Can Man's best friend help veterans conquer PTSD?
NCT ID NCT06723834
Summary
This study is testing whether pairing a psychiatric service dog with a standard PTSD therapy helps military veterans stick with treatment and improve their symptoms. Researchers will compare veterans receiving both a service dog and therapy to those receiving therapy alone. The goal is to see if the dogs help reduce dropout rates and make the therapy more effective for lasting symptom relief.
