Summary
This study tested two medications, serratiopeptidase and escin, to see which works better at reducing common problems after wisdom tooth removal, such as swelling, pain, and trouble opening the mouth. Twenty-four healthy adults who needed both lower wisdom teeth removed took one of the drugs along with standard care. The goal was to find a simple way to improve recovery and comfort after surgery.
