New hope for elderly lung cancer: immunotherapy drug shows promise

Summary

This study tests a drug called serplulimab in elderly patients (65 and older) with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has a high level of a protein called PD-L1. The goal is to see if the drug can control the cancer and help patients live longer without the disease getting worse. About 60 participants will receive the drug and be monitored for side effects and tumor progression.
