New minimally invasive nose surgery tested against traditional method
NCT ID NCT07434765
Summary
This study compared two surgical approaches for correcting a deviated nasal septum, a common condition that can cause breathing problems. 210 patients were randomly assigned to receive either traditional septoplasty surgery or a newer, more targeted endoscopic technique. Researchers measured which approach resulted in better breathing improvement with fewer complications like persistent deviation or holes in the septum.
