Neck training may boost grip strength in fibromyalgia sufferers

NCT ID NCT07624188

First seen Jun 07, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether special neck muscle exercises can help improve hand grip strength in post-menopausal women who have fibromyalgia and neck pain. Fifty women aged 50-60 with mild to moderate symptoms will be split into two groups: one doing the neck exercises plus usual care, the other just usual care. Researchers will measure grip strength, arm disability, neck pain, and pressure sensitivity before and after treatment.
