First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding extra sensory feedback to physical therapy helps cancer patients with nerve damage (CIPN) improve balance and reduce falls. 40 women who had recovered from breast cancer took part. The results showed that the extra feedback helped improve foot sensitivity, motor control, and balance compared to standard therapy alone.
