Summary
This study tests whether semaglutide, a drug already approved for diabetes and weight loss, can improve asthma control in adults with obesity who still have symptoms despite using inhaled steroids. About 100 participants will receive either semaglutide or a placebo for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if the drug reduces airway inflammation and improves asthma symptoms.
