First seen Dec 18, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding a special self-stretching technique for the wrist ligament to standard physical therapy helps people with mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome. 36 adults with stage I or II carpal tunnel were split into two groups: one did the extra stretching plus usual therapy, the other did usual therapy alone. After 6 weeks, researchers measured pain and hand function using standard questionnaires.
