First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tested whether a special stand that holds the uterus in place during hysterectomy can reduce how tired surgeons feel. About 100 surgeries were done, with some using the stand and others having an assistant hold the uterus by hand. The main goal was to see if the stand made the surgery less physically tiring for the surgeon.
