First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests a self-help program for 200 post-9/11 veterans who have depression or PTSD symptoms but are not in therapy. The program teaches healthy coping skills and how to find support services if needed. Over 40 weeks, researchers will compare the self-help group to those receiving standard resources to see if it improves daily functioning and mental health.
