Scientists test if feeling like a machine increases suicide thoughts

Summary
This is a research study to understand if feeling less than human (self-dehumanization) is a new risk factor for suicidal thoughts. Researchers will temporarily make 50 participants feel more machine-like using a futuristic personality report and compare them to a control group. They will measure changes in suicidal thoughts and a brain chemical called oxytocin to see how they are connected.
