Self-Compassion program shows promise for lung cancer stigma

Summary

This pilot study tested a 10-week virtual self-compassion program for adults with lung cancer who feel stigmatized. 79 participants were randomly assigned to the program or a waitlist. The goal was to see if the program could reduce stigma and improve well-being. Results will show if this approach is feasible and helpful.
