Home chemo: a new way to treat myeloma?
NCT ID NCT04268199
First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looks at whether people with multiple myeloma can safely give themselves a standard chemotherapy injection (bortezomib) at home, instead of always going to the hospital. About 100 adults who are stable on treatment and have already had several injections in the clinic will be taught to self-administer. The goal is to see if this approach is safe, reduces missed doses, and improves patient and caregiver quality of life.
