First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study tests whether replacing sitting time with light activity helps people recover after heart surgery. Twenty-four adults aged 50-80 will be split into two groups: one gets advice to move more, the other gets usual care. Researchers will measure lung function, quality of life, and daily steps to see if the movement group does better.
