AI and sedation study aims to improve sleep apnea diagnosis

NCT ID NCT07459322

Summary

This study compares two sedation drugs (remimazolam and dexmedetomidine) used during a sleep apnea diagnostic test called DISE. Researchers want to see which drug provides better sedation with fewer side effects and faster recovery. They will also use artificial intelligence to analyze sleep study data to help doctors better identify where airway blockages occur.
