First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study compares two cavity treatments for children aged 2 to 5: a silver liquid painted on teeth (SDF) versus a gentle filling method (ART). Researchers want to see which treatment parents and kids prefer, and which works better at stopping cavities. About 156 children from kindergartens will take part, with follow-ups at 6 and 12 months.
