First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests a new way of using spinal cord stimulation (SCS) to treat painful diabetic nerve damage in the legs. Up to 25 adults with long-lasting, severe pain will try a short trial of the therapy, and if it works, they will get a permanent implant. The goal is to see if this approach can safely reduce pain and improve daily function over 12 months.
