Mindful movement trial aims to ease scoliosis for teens
NCT ID NCT07500883
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a special body awareness therapy to standard scoliosis exercises helps teenagers with a curved spine feel better and improve their posture. Researchers will compare two groups of 40 teens, aged 10-17, over six months: one doing exercises alone, and one doing exercises plus the awareness therapy. The main goal is to see if the combined approach leads to better body awareness, quality of life, and physical measurements of the spinal curve.
