New online tool aims to ease prostate cancer treatment choices

Summary
This study tests a web-based program called SCIPI that provides easy-to-understand information and tools to help men with localized prostate cancer make treatment decisions. About 200 newly diagnosed patients will be randomly assigned to use SCIPI or receive usual care. Researchers will measure whether SCIPI improves satisfaction with decisions and quality of life.
