Summary
This study tests a program called Let's Know!2, where first graders with low language skills work in small groups to improve their understanding of words and stories. About 241 children from different schools are randomly assigned to the program or their usual classes. Researchers track their language and reading skills through third grade to see if the program helps them keep up.
