Summary
This study is testing different school-based alcohol prevention programs for high school students in Massachusetts. Researchers want to see if starting prevention efforts earlier and using trained peer mentors alongside clinical staff can help reduce risky drinking and substance use. The study will follow about 21,000 students over two years to measure the effectiveness of these approaches.
