First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested whether a 4-week safety training program helps 3rd and 4th graders learn to prevent accidents at school. 200 students took part, with one group receiving the training and another group not. The goal was to see if the training improves children's safety behaviors, since injuries are a leading cause of death and disability in this age group.
